Working on a new positioning for Onitsuka Tiger we came up with a platform that focused on the juxtaposition between movement and stillness. Working with Tokyo-based art collective: Studio NAM, we designed and built a set where movement was to be captured as a static scene. Almost every individual element was suspended in time by fibers. We used this to stage a photoshoot and capture video to promote the Craft of Movement campaign and Onitsuka Tiger’s latest footwear and apparel line. FUN FACT: I also experienced my first and (so far) only earthquake while on set.
